A Year at Davis

I felt like I should add to this post again since I haven't touched it in a while...

Anyways, to give a quick update, I have been in Davis for one academic year now and I've been doing fine. My cumulative GPA is at 3.66 right now due to a surprisingly good Spring quarter, and today is the first day of summer session.

I have decided on double majoring in Economics because I enjoy the subject and I feel that it will give me more opportunities for work.

I will probably be going to the office of letters and science to declare my double major today if I have time, but we'll see.

I've been participating in two clubs on campus (Japanese American Student Society and International Relations Student Society) and they have been pretty awesome. We started IRSA from the ground up so it's been a bit difficult getting people to join, but for the people we DO have it's been real fun getting to know them and talk about International events. In JASS, its mostly just social events. I get to meet some Japanese International Students easily since I'm in this club, and we have gone on some awesome trips such as Tahoe, Solano Lake, etc. If you haven't heard already, I'm registered to study abroda in Tokyo for 3 months during next Fall, so that's extremely exciting!!

I haven't gotten any internship or part-time job yet... I'm feeling that I should get on that but we'll see what happens..

I've really enjoyed my first year here at Davis (Minus the crazy weather) and I've met great people. Unfortunately most of my friends from home have graduated this year, but it's not like I'll never see them again (lol) since they live just a few minutes away back home.

Hmmm... I think that's the rough update of my life at Davis so far in terms of academia. Socially it's mostly just hanging out with friends, very occasionally watching a movie, playing video games and watching game of thrones with the housemates, etc. It's a pretty chill life. BUT I SHOULD DEFINITELY STUDY MORE (everyone can always study more...but will it happen? haha)

I've attempted the trinity but failed because well....
1. I'm poor and split one of the 3 drinks with a friend
2. The place that has the third and final drink of the trinity was closed...

I've gotten 1.5 out of 3 drinks of the trinity cleared... I guess that's an accomplishment.

ANYWAYS. I thought I should just update the blog, considering I haven't touched it in a very long time. SORRY! however you probably know what's going on through FB... (Blogger is so much cooler though, right?)
